The Golden Rule: All of your invoice data (including customer details, product lists, sales records, and tax information) is stored exclusively on your local computer's database. This data is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud service.
1. Information We Collect (Only for Activation)
To provide and validate your software license, we collect a limited amount of information during the activation process and periodic license checks. This is the only time the Software communicates with our servers. The information collected is:
- Email Address: The email you used to purchase the license, used to verify ownership.
- Product Key: The unique key provided to you upon purchase.
- Machine ID: A non-personally identifiable, anonymous hardware identifier generated by your computer. This is used to lock your license to a single machine and prevent key sharing.
2. Information We DO NOT Collect
To be perfectly clear, we do not collect, monitor, or have access to any of the following:
- Any of your invoice or billing data.
- Your customer lists or product inventory.
- Your financial reports or tax summaries.
- Usage analytics or telemetry about how you use the Software.
- Any other files or information on your computer.
3. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we collect during activation is used solely for the following purposes:
- To verify that your Product Key is valid.
- To activate the full features of the Software on your machine.
- To prevent license fraud and piracy by associating your key with your machine ID.
- To provide you with customer support related to your license.
4. Data Security
While your invoice data is stored locally, you are responsible for the security of your own computer and your data backups. We recommend taking regular backups of the application's database using the built-in "Backup Database" feature and storing them in a secure location (like an external drive or cloud storage).
